Tallahassee- Representative Adam Hasner (R-Delray Beach) today commented on Alex Sink's opposition to reducing the burden of taxes on Florida businesses.

“While Florida Republicans are looking for ways to reduce burdens on Florida's families and businesses, Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink opposes Republican efforts to reduce taxes to help encourage job creation," said Representative Hasner. “Floridians have been waiting for months for Alex Sink to weigh in on the critical issues facing our state. So it's unfortunate that when she finally comes out of hiding, she is opposing tax cuts on the people who create jobs.

“At a time when other states are considering eliminating their corporate income tax, we should be working hard to make Florida more competitive for jobs. Alex Sink's closed mind to tax cuts is a sign that her Florida would be closed for business," concluded Hasner.
