New Spot Will Air in Targeted Legislative Districts in the Tampa Bay Area

St. Petersburg–The Republican Party of Florida today released the first television advertisement of the 2010 election cycle for state legislative races. The thirty-second spot features a political newcomer, Army veteran and business owner Jeff Brandes, who is challenging Democrat incumbent Bill Heller in House District 52.

“With a strong slate of candidates and the political climate in our favor, the Republican Party of Florida is committed to picking up multiple legislative seats in 2010,” said RPOF Chairman John Thrasher. “It’s refreshing to see new candidates like Jeff Brandes step forward to challenge ineffective and unresponsive Democrats who believe government has all the answers.”

The RPOF advertisement “Stopwatch” will air on cable and broadcast television in the Tampa Bay Area.
