A Statement by RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry
“Today we honor the memories of the Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It was eleven years ago that our nation was shocked by terrible acts committed by evil men. While we were wounded, it was in the tragedy that true heroism shined through. Both first responders and everyday citizens risked their lives to save others with some making the ultimate sacrifice. Following that day America came to the aid of victims, and many pledged their service to protect our nation. On this solemn day, as you think about the lives that were taken too soon, also remember the courage and selflessness that many of our fellow Americans showed that day. It is those noble American values that make us who we are, and that is why we will Never Forget.”
