RPOF’s Call To Action To Stop Illegally Registered Voters

RPOF LAUNCHES ONLINE CALL TO ACTION TO STOP ILLEGALLY REGISTERED VOTERS

In recent days, Democrats and liberal special interests have spent a lot of time attacking Florida’s solution to the real problem of illegally-registered voters. Their solution is to have public officials do nothing. Implicit in the critiques, they seem ready to accept a level of illegal voting.

Despite their failure to identify a better solution, it turns out that there is one and President Obama holds the key. Florida, along with Colorado, has requested access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program. This program is managed by the Obama Administration in the Department of Homeland Security. According to SAVE’s mission statement, they provide “immigration status information to authorized agencies to assist them in maintaining the integrity of their programs.”

However, to date, officials in Florida and Colorado have not been given access to this information, even though giving the data to states would provide the ability to better identify illegal voters. This data would greatly reduce the likelihood of legal voters being contacted.

“With a single phone call, President Obama could have the data from this federal program immediately released to the states,” said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry. “So, I ask all Floridians who care about the integrity of our elections to contact the White House immediately. Tell the President we need to stop illegal voters and need the SAVE data released today.” Curry went on to say, “We have a duty to ensure the integrity of each vote and that means no illegal voters on our voter rolls. Any amount of fraud is too much, and taking proactive steps to prevent it makes sense.”
