Council Purpose:The council shall be responsible for the development and coordination of the Republican Party of Florida's Jewish outreach programs and initiatives. This responsibility shall be in conjunction with all state and local party minority outreach programs. The council shall also be responsible for assisting in the successful implementation of such programs

Specific Responsibilities:

To develop the Republican Party's message to Jewish voters throughout the state of Florida.
To develop and assist in the implementation of a strategic plan to promote the party's message.
To advise the state party chairman of issues important to Jewish voters and recommend action necessary to respond to such matters.
To publicly advocate the Leadership Council's programs and the initiatives of the Governor and the Republican Party of Florida.
To develop and implement a fundraising program to be utilized for the purpose of promoting Jewish outreach and coalition building throughout the state.
To assist in increasing Jewish voter registration and participation in the political process and the Republican party.
To assist in the development of coalitions throughout the state for the purpose of promoting the council and party's programs and Republican candidate campaigns.

**The Jewish Leadership Council shall consist of 30 members appointed by the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and need not be a registered Republican. Efforts will be made for council members to be geographically located throughout Florida. The council chairman and all members shall be appointed by the state party chairman and all members serve at the pleasure of the state party chairman. The council will meet a minimum of three times during the year or more frequently as determined by the council or state party chairman.**
