May 15, 2008On April 26, the Pinellas County Democrat Party held a rally encouraging the Democrats National Committee and Democrat presidential candidates to advocate counting the Florida's delegates at the Party's convention this summer. Currently the 1.7 million votes cast by Florida Democrats in the Presidential Preference Primary will not be counted towards the selection of the Party's nominee for President of the United States.
